Dog Anxiety Jacket - Medium - Platinum

I’m a little weirded out by how wel this works. I bought it knowing I’d probably send it back. My schnauzer destroys my house when I leave and I don’t want him to spend his life in a crate. Bought this as a last ditch before having him medicated to keep him from freaking out when we leave. It works. 100%. We’ve had it for about 3-4 weeks and tested it. If we leave and he’s wearing it he won’t touch ANYTHING. He’s very calm and collected. If he’s not wearing it he is antsy and we come home to DVDs destroyed, picture frames tore apart, his toys gutted and piled in the middle of the room, and hats chewed beyond saving. I’d recommend this to anyone with an anxious dog.

I can’t bark (get it? Ha hah) enough about this jacket!!! Simply the best and I’ll tell you why-We adopted a (neglected) senior dog with bags of separation anxiety. We’re talking pissing ALLLLLLL over the house (even though he has a doggy door and access to the garden) on the bed, when he was locked out of the bedrooms, on the carpet, when we crated him, all over the crate and himself. Ew, I know. He’d be ripping up anything and everything, he even managed to climb onto a table and eat CHOCOLATE cookies (jerk), and he’d be barking like a bloody lunatic- NOTHING could stop him from barking for 10, 20, sometimes 30 mins straight- when we left and came back. We were one bark away from a refund on this dog UNTIL the thunder shirt jacket!!We got the package, put on the jacket (see the packaging in the background of the picture, yes, we were THAT excited), he instantly mellowed out. We left him at home in his lightweight jacket thinking there’s another puddle of pee for us to clean up... NOPE! He didn’t even bark once!!Best part? He LOVES it! Every time we pick it up he runs up to it and sits like a good boy all excited.We now have our life back, he’s not stressing out, everything is great!

I am so amazed on how great this works! I have a great Dane who really is a great baby. She is scared of every loud noise out there. If a stranger comes in the house, she runs behind me, then barks! Comical really. The other day we had a violent thunderstorm in the morning, and my poor dog didn't want my wife to leave. She literally forced herself past wy wife, ran to the car, and wouldn't let my wife get in the car to leave for work! She would always shake, tail between the legs every thunderstorm, and 4th of july I was always afraid she would have a heart attack and die. So after this car blocking incident I bought this thundershirt. It is AWESOME ! She is about 120lbs, and it fit with no problem. Got it nice and snug, and it works so well! I don't understand it! We have had several storms, and it seems like she could care less. 4th of July was yesterday and she didn't care, she napped all night long! She just acted completely normal. Check out my attached picture! I believe every dog owner who has fears of noises should get this! Highly reccommend !

This is the third Thundershirt I have purchased for my dog. She doesn't have Thunderstorm phobia, but she DOES have anxiety, and the swaddling effect of these shirts definitely help to calm her. I also use them to help keep her warm outdoors on our walks when the weather is cold.She had major surgery on February 1 and it was cold that morning, so I placed the Thundershirt on her when we went to the hospital. Later, the surgeon recommended to keep the shirt on her following the surgery to place compression on the wound and to help keep her from pulling at the bandages and the sutures. It worked great.She's a black and white dog and she gets so many compliments from the neighbors when she's wearing this bright pink Thundershirt. I also really like that it has the reflective patches on it for additional safety when we're out walking at night.(Note that it took a few tries to get her accustomed to wearing the very first Thundershirt, but now she readily comes for me to put one on her.) I highly recommend Thundershirts, and am pleased that the quality and fit have improved from the first one I bought about 3 years ago.)

This vest is simply amazing!! I have a 2 year old Rottweiler that is hyped out of her mind 24/7. We have tried OTC meds and nothing worked. The vet prescribed prescription meds that were going to cost $25.00/week to try to calm her down. We gave up just figuring this is her personality and we have to deal with it. Saw this online and didn't believe it would help but I figured what is another $45.00 to throw at the problem. From the first few minutes I put it on her she just stood there like a statue. Every morning she spins in her crate starting before the sun rises until we let her out. Today, I had to get her up at 9:00 a.m. She was waiting patiently for me which NEVER happens. I don't know how or why it works. I plan on buying 2 more because she is going to wear these 24/7. Beats putting her on meds...
