Nice for crazy sleepers

My dog is very weird with how he sleeps. (As you can see in one of the photos. He will lay upside down, stretched out, curled up.... This bed allows him to sleep however he wants to comfortably. He had a round bed but he would sometimes hang over the side of it and it looked uncomfortable to do. This one he's able to stretch out how he wants. I wouldn't say it's chew proof because within the first few weeks he chewed a portion of the side. But it is really easy to wash and clean. And it looks like the foam cushion inside is able to hold up for quite some time.

Dog magnet

I purchased this bed in the hopes that my little foster pit bull, whose favorite place to sleep is in the center of MY bed with her head resting on my pillows, might leave me some room to sleep! I opted for the memory foam model, thinking that the supportive foam and padded bolsters might mimic what she liked about being on my bed. Well, so far, so good -- she curled up in the Furhaven bed immediately and hasn't jumped up on my bed all day!Do pay attention to the size of the sleep area when ordering, as the bolsters take up about 30% of the surface area of the bed. That's fine if your dog likes to sleep curled up, as mine does, but if your pet prefers to stretch out more, you might want to order up a size. The only negative is that I'm not confident this bed is going to be super durable in the long run (compared to, say, my Big Shrimpy bed that has outlived multiple canine companions and is still in great shape). The padding in the bolsters isn't very dense and feels like it might flatten down over time, and the cover fabric, while very soft, is not as durable as a canvas or twill cover. Still, it's not outrageously priced for what it is, it's an attractive design (and even matches my bedroom paint color!), and the dog loves it. I will update the review if anything changes, but so far I'm pleased with my purchase.

Overall happy with it & worth the money

Overall in my household, I gave it 5 stars, but not all households are equal. I have a 50lb blue heeler, and the large fits him well. He did nip at the raised sides, but when I scolded him, he did not continue. Other dogs might be bigger chewers or not listen as well, and while not totally cheap, it will not withstand a lot of chewing. Don’t know of any fabric beds that would though. The foam seems adequate but not the highest quality, however it is soft yet supportive with his weight. Time will tell if it breaks down quickly. The raised sofa sides are nice as he can snuggle in or rest his head on the sides. My dog uses it but still prefers to sleep on our sofa rather than his bed or mine for that matter, but my cats love it and don’t mind the dog sleeping elsewhere. Given the cost of some other beds that don’t look much different than this one, I don’t think just under $40 was unreasonable for this bed as the construction is pretty solid. I am happy with it overall and would recommend it.

Impressed! Super easy to clean.

I bought this for our new large breed puppy to grow into. I was very impressed when it arrived. It was rolled up and shoved into a box that seemed too small, which was comical but not at all a problem. The thickness and softness of the egg crate foam is really nice. My two year old approves. When puppy came home, she had an accident on it the first night. The cover came off so easy and later went back on just as easy. It washed well and no signs of coming apart or unstitching like a cheap product would. The foam itself seemed to repel water, and here’s where I made a mistake. I put it in the shower and rinsed it down with the shower, intending to wash it the next day, as it was 3am. The next day, and the next 3 days, that thing would not dry to save my life. I ended up putting it on the floor and put towels all over it and then walked on it to absorb the water into the towels. Pretty sure if I’d put it in the dryer it would have demolished it, as I’ve had happened to me before. After that, I began putting a cloth pee pad into the foam before inserting it back into the cover. I’m sure a puppy pad would work just as well and this will probably not even be an issue when she’s grown into it. Probably also a good way to keep the foam clean in general too from developing a musty dog smell.Overall, I’d say this is an excellent purchase for the price.

60lbs dog jumbo bed review: TDLR: get it

General:So I've had this dog bed for about a month now and I haven't had any bad experiences with it. It arrived preassembled and quickly rolled out and became flat. It's incredibly soft to the touch and my dog immediately ran over to it and laid out. She has been using it everyday since. It has not been damaged in anyway since it arrived and it seems very hardy. My dog likes to chew her toys and sometimes her Kong on the bed and it has so far stood the test of time.Sizing:I had some initial trouble deciding between the sizes. At first I was measuring my dog laying out as long as possible, but then I realized I almost never see her laying like that. None the less I decided on the jumbo size for my 60lbs dog. It is a little too big for her, but it also gives her lots of room to lay out in a variety of positions (which she does take advantage of). Bonus: she also lays her head on the edge of the bed and the edge props it up, it's adorable.Cleaning:I've washed the bed once so far and it was incredibly easy, surprisingly so. The zippers are very long on the sides so there's little hassle trying to fight it to get the padding back in. It's similar to putting a pillow in a pillow case. Normally washing a dog bed would be something I dread, but I really do look forward to next time.
