Automatic Dog Bone - Green

I have a 2 year old dog named Eddie and he is completly blind. I am always searching to find toys for him that will help him to play like a sighted dog. After watching the video for this toy on , I decided to give it a try. Well, from the first second I gave it to him he just absolutely loved it! This is the first time he can play 100% like a dog with sight! Because of the noises and sounds that the toy emmits from the spinning wheels to the thing that flaps in the middle, he is able to follow and find the toy 100% of the time! We also love the erratic pattern of movement, it's just so much fun! I've never seen Eddie have so much fun with a toy and feel so confident!! I toss it, he runs after it, finds it easily (the most important part), brings it back to me, drops it and we continue to play like this until he gets tired. The toy itself is very sturdy and hold up very well to our rough play. I think ANY dog would love this quirky toy but if you have a blind dog I recommend it 150%!!

As soon as I put it on the ground in front of her for the first time she started going crazy when it moved, and she has been playing with it literally all day non-stop. I don't think she'll ever get bored lol.The battery lasts a few hours and only takes 30 minutes or so to charge. This is a genius invention, now dog owners don't have to worry about them being bored, or not getting enough exercise, this will definitely wear them out physically! Also it has grooves to help clean tarter off their teeth which is important for dental health and bad breath.See my uploaded video. I noticed that one person made a one-star review because they assumed that it was supposed to be "motion activated" (meaning if something moves within so many feet of the toy, it starts moving), but if you read the description completely that is not what it says at all... the only time it moves is when it is touched/patted and if the dog goes up to it to touch it with their nose or paw it will instantly move. The reason why it only moves for 5 to 10 seconds after touching it one time, is to save battery life for when the dog stops playing with it... to me that's common sense but some people don't have that these days.

It is a very clever and engaging toy idea and PetGeek have executed it well.It's safe to say this is the equivalent of using a laser poiunter with a cat, but the dog can actually catch the bone!Charging time is around an hour and a half, resulting in about 2 hours of use. The unit goes into standby after a series of movements to conserve battery but can be easily awoken by the dog pawing the green tag.
