Automatic Pet Feeder - 6L - Black

My cat is overweight and needs to lose weight. Since I don't have time to measure out her food myself in small meals during the day, this feeder is doing a great job doing it for me. It is relatively easy to program with the included instructions but confusing to try to figure out without the instructions (tried that first haha).The light on the front indicating charge is annoying but then again her food is in my bedroom so I had to put paper over it to dim it. Shouldn't be an issue for most people though.Not very loud. Can program any time of day up to six meals a day and you can choose what amount to feed at each meal.Has 3 D batteries to power it in the event of a power outage.Comes with USB box and cord to keep it plugged in.I wish it had the option to only play the recording at certain feedings not all.

Excellent pet feeder. I ended up replacing our WOPET video WiFi automatic feeders with 2 of these Petlibro feeders. The WOPET would skip meals and disconnect from the Wifi at times. Even though we had batteries in them and plugged into power it would still skip meals. I reprogrammed the WOPET feeders 3 times and reinstalled the app 2 times. They both would work for 2 days and then start skipping meals again.The Petlibro is much better and easier to program than a WOPET feeder.I really like how the PETLIBRO machine feeds off a programmed time and doesn’t rely on internet and an app to feed and DOES NOT SKIP MEALS.IT JUST WORKS! And feeds on the minute of the programmed times.Portion sizes are accurate every time and the lock on the lid feels sturdy. The food tray pops out and easy to clean.Also this feeder has a optical sensor and the led light turns red when the feeder needs to be filler.I highly recommend this product and we’ll see how it holds up over the next few years.

My Petnet feeder finally bit the bullet a few days ago months after the company went out of business. I settled on this feeder because it isn't wifi-dependent, has an ac adaptor with battery backup, can schedule 6 meals, was reasonably priced and the reviews seemed legit. It seems sturdy and well-built. So well-built that I cannot figure out to detach the hopper to clean it. I watched two YouTube video reviews of the product and that helped me to get it setup quickly. The instructions weren't that clear to me but the YouTube unboxing video helped me get my meals scheduled. You will definitely need to measure 1 portion manually due to your size of kibble. I'm glad that I tested that because I had it scheduled for 6 portions for one meal and that was enough food for the entire day. The biggest surprise is that the food chute is too small for my cat's paws to reach up into, thus preventing him from stealing food. He has already tried and failed. That alone is worth the price of the feeder. I will update if my anything changes.

I only wish that I would have spent a little more money initially and got the Pet Libro, rather than try and save a few dollars.First impression out of the box: This is a nice looking cat feeder. It has a nice sleek black design.The feeder itself is super intuitive to use. I didn’t have any problems whatsoever with set-up. The lcd screen lights up and is easy to see.I wanted to test the accuracy and precision of the quantity of feed being delivered to that stated in the manual. So I did a small test sample of 10 feedings. First at 1 tbsp of feed volume and then at 5 tbsp of feed volume. I found the accuracy to be close to that stated; the 5 tbsp feedings having a standard deviation of less than a 1 tsp. But more importantly, the feeder was relatively precise, with each feeding being of relatively the same volume.There’s one last function that I feel is worth mentioning. On the front of the feeder is an lcd light. The light is normally blue but when the feed gets low, the light turns red to notify you to add more food.So, to wrap it up, if you haven’t guessed already, I definitely recommend purchasing the Libro Cat Feeder.

Well built. Physical set up was easy. Looks are good. I don’t like the bright blue light which is too big. It’s on all the time and I like my hone dark at night and the light is a little bright. The hopper holds enough food for at least 1 month.Programming required a few reads of the instructions and a couple of tries. Once I figured it out, it’s straight forward.The portion size can be adjusted up or down by 1 Tablespoon increments and spaced out over up to six times. I feed once when my alarm goes off, once right before I come home from work, and once right before Bed time. The cat no longer harasses me for food and overall has a better demeanor now that she has a predictable consistent food supply. It’s been great! I live it and wish I’d purchased this a year ago!!!I had an auto feeder 10 years ago and this one is light years better in every way possible.
